FB 1  Single bag Extraction Unit

Wood Waste Control have been manufacturing the FB 1 single bag extraction unit for over 40 years.

These extractors may look like similar to the DIY / Hobbiest machines that are imported from china, but don't be fooled.  


Manufactured here in the UK these units are built to last, boasting a 6mm mild steel impellor, unique silencing fan scroll and constructed using only best quality steel.

This single bag extractor is ideal for extracting swarf, shavings and chippings from around the workshop.  Because it's portable it can be moved and deployed at the source of the contamination.

Ideal for use with saws, planers, spindle moulders, bandsaws and similar machines.

Key Features

Low Noise Levels 

The FB 1 comes fully equipped with a cloth bag at the top to act as the filter, with two different power options 1.5kW or 2.2kW.A single 150mm diameter inlet can be used to connect to machines with  similar sized extraction port.   A very heavy duty polyethene collection bag is placed at the bottom of the extractor to conveniently collect the waste.

The machine is supplied with a pack of 25 waste bags - 500mm dia x 1250mm long, heavy duty casters, filter bag and D.O.L Start / Stop controller.

We do not recommend the use of these types of units when using very fine dust, even with fine dust filter cartridges attached.   This is due to the high risk of explosions that could potentially happen.  These type of units have no safe panels or cladding to protect the users.   We recommend our FD type of filter for fine dust.
